
What kinds of financial aid are available?
Agriculure students are eligible for general University
scholarships, ranging from $100 to $6,000 per year and for College
of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources scholarships, ranging
from $100 to $6,000 per year. The Department of Animal Science also
administers a number of similar awards which generally go to sophomores,
juniors, and seniors. The college and the Work-Study program offer
opportunities to work on University farms or in departmental laboratories.
The study of animal science involves everything from feeding livestock
to conducting sophisticated laboratory procedures at the cellular
level, and students are encouraged to broaden the educational process
by taking advantage of these job opportunities.
