Testing Birds for WNV

Only crows and blue jays are being tested for WNV this year.
The birds must be freshly dead and kept on ice or in a cool place after being bagged for testing.
Contact your local health department, specifically the Environmental Health or Vector Control person, for details on getting freshly dead birds tested.
