GRANTS AND CONTRACTS
From 1998 to present, Dr. Oliver is Principal or Co-principal Investigator
on grants and contracts from state, federal and industrial sources
totaling over $3.5 million dollars. In addition, Dr. Oliver is Co-Director
of a new $5 million dollar Food Safety Center of Excellence at The
University of Tennessee.
National & International Research Awards
Recipient of the 2003 United States Food and Drug
Administration’s Group Recognition Award as a member of the
Tissue Residues & Strategies for Case Development Organization
and Training Team.
Recipient of the 2002 Land O’Lakes, Inc. Award of the American
Dairy Science Association in recognition of meritorious scientific
contributions in dairy production and technology contributing to
improvement of dairy cattle.
Recipient of the 1998 Merck Merial AgVet Dairy Management
Research Award of the American Dairy Science Association in recognition
of outstanding research in management of dairy cattle.
Recipient of 1992 West Agro, Inc. Award of the American Dairy Science
Association for outstanding research contributions to mastitis abatement.
Recipient of 1989 Agway Inc. Young Scientist Award
of the American Dairy Science Association in recognition of outstanding
contributions in research.
