COFFEE COUNTY QUIZ BOWL
TEAM COMPETES IN NORTH AMERICAN

dairy quiz bowl team from Coffee County represented Tennessee in
the North American Invitational 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl competition
in Louisville, Kentucky, November 8-10. The team was composed of
Mitch Bunting, Samantha Brown, Wesley Keele and Lance Willis. Coach
for the team was Steve Harris, Coffee County 4-H agent.
The dairy quiz bowl is a double elimination contest.
Teams compete in three phases: a 50 question individual quiz, team
questions and a team toss up round.
Coffee County was selected our state winner in
competition held at the June Dairy Month Kickoff luncheon in Nashville
last June. Congratulations to the Coffee County dairy quiz bowl
team on a job well done.
 Recognized
at the June Dairy Month luncheon was the first-place junior high
quiz bowl team from Maury County. From left are volunteer coach
