A new beginning for the UT Horse Judging Team brings success
Murfreesboro, TN (March 27th, 2009) – The UT Horse Judging Team recently competed at the Middle Tennessee State University Intercollegiate Horse Judging Contest, marking the revival of the team since 2001.
Comprised of mostly novice judges, the Volunteers claimed a 6th place finish overall, 6th in halter, 4th in performance, and 4th in reasons from a slate of 13 teams and 53 contestants. Allison Erkman led The University of Tennessee, earning high-point honors in all individual categories (halter, performance, reasons, and overall).
Team members include Allison Erkman, Audrey Moore, Caitlin Narramore, Jennifer Hartman, and Rachel Rutter (Coached by Russell Kriewald).
