Thus, it is imperative that pre-baccalaureate students receive training in any or all of these species. Livestock judging material is very limited and with declining budgets and animal resources, it is increasingly difficult to properly train students in these areas. Therefore, there is a need for educational materials in the area of animal selection and evaluation.
