Horse Extension Program
The Animal Science Horse Extension Program serves the agricultural industry of Tennessee by providing meaningful educational programs in efficient production and management. Educational programs are in breeding and genetics, reproduction, nutrition and forage utilization, production and management and marketing. The section is also responsible for educational programs in 4-H Horse project. These programs are directed through UT Extension staff located in Tennessee's 95 counties.
Master Horse Owner Program
Educational program designed to provide information to Tennessee horse owners to help them be the very best in the country, improve their profitability and position the industry to be competitive with other states.
Tennessee e-QUINE Report
The “Tennessee e-QUINE Report” is a new montly e-publication developed by Dr. Bridgett McIntosh, Extension Horse Specialist, featuring timely issues for equine clientele throughout the State. To subscribe to the e-QUINE Report, contact your local county Extension office.
