All bulls that excelled in the gain test and passed the Breeding Soundness Examination will be sold at public auction on January 21, 2010 at the Middle Tennessee Research and Education Center in Spring Hill. In addition, for the first time, all bulls selling in the sale will be freeze branded on the right hip with a brand of the outline of the state of Tennessee signifying that they passed all the performance and fertility requirements at the University of Tennessee Bull Test Station and excelled in genetics for performance.

The sale of these bulls will provide 2 different televideo sites enabling prospective buyers the opportunity to purchase bulls via the telephone without having to travel to the original sale site. The bulls eligible for sale will be video taped prior to the sale in their sale order and played at the televideo site during the sale. These sites will be at the Knoxville Livestock Center in Mascot and the 4-H Camp in Greeneville.
